From bad to worse
We’ve been holding back from publishing on the events in Ukraine ’til now, mostly because it’s evolving fast, while readers may be following it as much as we do. But we just went across two valuable bits of info, from the past and the present, concerning the upcoming, planned land-grab of this country by Western interests.
So it Looks like the fascists of Ukraine, now pretty much in charge of the Kiev government since the putsch of Feb. 22, are standing true to their corporatist roots and especially their Western corporate sponsors…

Montréal, le vendredi 7 Février 2014, Conférence Petroculture
Près de 30 manifestants occupent actuellement le Faculty Club de l’Université McGill au centre-ville de Montréal et bloquent l’entrée à Petrocultures 2014, une conférence organisée et reçue par l’Institut d’études canadiennes de McGill.
Une bannière a été déployée du toit avec l’inscription suivante “Shut Down the Tar Sands: Décolonisons” et dispose d’un drapeau canadien renversé. La principale et vice-chancelière de McGill Suzanne Fortier devait ouvrir la conférence à 09h00, la personnalité de Sun News Ezra Levant avait prévu de prendre la parole à 09h15 .
Les manifestants dénoncent la plate-forme qui est donnée à des voix de l’industrie du pétrole et ses partisans. «Plutôt que d’échanger des idées sur les solutions qui nous sortirons du piège des combustibles fossiles, cette conférence offre une plate-forme aux défenseurs de la continuité du colonialisme et de l’extraction des ressources et construit un faux débat qui ne sert qu’à maintenir le statu quo », a déclaré Mona, une manifestante .
